Across the country hate speech about marijuana and medical marijuana is not just fashionable, it is the law.

While prominent examples abound, perhaps the most glaring is the resurrection of Jim Crow in Los Angeles through regulations that essentially entrap every single dispensary in the city.

Santa Cruz considers ban on more medical marijuana dispensaries

The Santa Cruz Planning Commission will have a hearing tonight, 19 Nov 09 at 7:00 PM on proposals to ban additional dispensaries, allow the sales of clones as well as on-site cultivation, and increase the set-back from residential property from 50 to 600 feet. Santa Cruz passes 6 month medical marijuana moratorium

Sometime around 6 pm today the Santa Cruz City Council passed a 6-month moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries and production houses. The city currently has 2 dispensaries, WAMM and no licensed grow houses.
