Sometime around 6 pm today the Santa Cruz City Council passed a 6-month moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries and production houses. The city currently has 2 dispensaries, WAMM and no licensed grow houses.
During an afternoon session in the middle of summer the Santa Cruz City Council will vote to extend an emergency 45-day moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries for 10 months and 15 days.
