I’ve finally got the transcripts of the unlawful detainer trial and appeal and have spent the past week scanning them to put on my website. There’s only four days a week, for four hours a day, I have the use of a computer, and last week two of them were co-opted by the case managaer at the yard.
I fear they’re going to put me on the ‘look for a place to live’ treadmill even though I don’t have any money, or any viable prospects. If I were to get into a place now I wouldn’t be able to pay off my credit card debt…and would be in over my head in 6 months to a year.
Concentrating to write a blog entry is very difficult in this environment. I’m trying to do it while I scan the last transcript. The computer is also very slow.
The past year is the first time in my life I’ve had a supply of medicine, and I’ve been homeless the entire time and unable to do anything but move and look for a place to live. Yesterday I made the trip to storage to get some more and bring it back to Santa Cruz with me, took all day, 6 hours, to make a trip that by car would only take a couple of hours. I made it back just in time to get on a list to sleep on a church floor. From then (3 pm) the rest of the day is shot – spent waiting for the bus to take us to the church, and last night they turned the lights out at 8:30…
There’s been some discussion on Overgrow and cannabisworld about Emery and the extradition bid by the U.S. government.
